I broke my tibia and fibula in my right leg. I did not receive proper physical therapy after my injury and was in a wheelchair for several months. I finally made it to SERC in Liberty, Missouri and began receiving the treatment that I needed. My muscles were extremely tight and I had very little ability to move my legs on my own. My physical therapist introduced me to Astym. At first, my muscles were so tender that I thought it hurt. After another try, I understood more of what it was about and began to feel how well it worked. I am thrilled that my PT has included this in my therapy and believe that it has helped me tremendously in my recovery.
